As a reference and comparison, during the same time frame in 2015, 608 SF homes sold. 356 were in the $300-$700 price range, 85 in the $701-$900 range, 52 in the $901-$1100 range, 50 in the $1,101,000-$1,500,000 range, 19 in the $1,501,000-$2,000,000 range, 11 in the $2,001,000-$4,000,000 range and 5 in the $4,001,000+ range.
The average sale price in Fairfield during the Jan-Sep 2016 time frame has decreased almost 6% (again compared to the same date range in 2015), and the number of homes sold is down 4%. (Number of homes sold is up 12% though, compared to same time frame in 2014). Average days on market is 105 compared to this time last year at 100.
